These pictures are from a ramble through Germany and Austria in October 1999. I'd intended to visit Prague, but being useless at advanced planning, left it too late to get there at short notice. So, Salzburg seemed like an acceptable substitute - and cheers to my brother Jeff for accomodating me with no warning at all.

First port of call was Marburg, Germany, for a week, to stay with friends Christian & Heike, and generally relax, explore a delightful mediaeval town, drink beer and soak up a bit of German culture for a while. Ended up playing some tunes and songs in the KFZ Cultural Centre, and writing a couple of guitar instrumentals as well. If you've got RealPlayer installed on your computer, you can listen to an excerpt of a piece Christian & I wrote and recorded, called 'Above & Below The Castle' right now.
